Part of Care for the Family, Who Let The Dads Out? helps local churches to establish projects which give dads, father figures and their children the opportunity to spend time together and have fun, and provides resources to support dads in their fathering role. WLTDO? is meeting a growing demand for male focused family support.
"I would like to end by giving praise to Who Let The Dads Out? It was this that got me into a church and started me on the path to faith."

Activity

Through fun sessions held once a month Who Let The Dads Out? gives space for fathers and father figures to bond with their children.

It takes 2-3 months to recruit volunteers and establish a project. Who Let the Dads Out? groups usually run at least once a month on a Saturday morning for 2 hours.

Cost

The cost of setting up a group will depend on what resources you need to purchase. Ongoing costs are likely to include refreshments and activity resources.

Partnership

Local authorities, children's centres, GP surgeries, nurseries and schools, maternity services and libraries may be interested in advertising your Who Let The Dads Out? group.

Support

Who Let The Dads Out? provides a complete resource guide. Training is not essential but is available. Regional representatives are on hand to offer advice and to help connect you with other Who Let The Dads Out? projects.
