Churches are jam-packed full of potential and Cinnamon can help to release it. Each year we work alongside thousands of churches to build their capacity and capability so they can help more people.
We do this in all sorts of ways: by finding breakthrough initiatives, delivering training, providing one-to-one support, connecting people with funding, publishing resources, sharing knowledge and suggesting solutions.
Supporting our partners at The Bishop Radford Trust
We’re currently working with our friends at Bishop Radford Trust to support the churches they work with. Funders are looking to provide grants to churches that can demonstrate their commitment to delivering excellent work.
Here at Cinnamon, everything we do is geared toward helping churches deliver truly excellent social action projects. So, when you become a member of our Cinnamon Connect learning community, or join one of our training events, you can enhance your application and get the support you need to succeed.
Many funders cover the cost of training or resources required to deliver programmes. So, you can add the cost of a training course or our Cinnamon Connect membership to your application.
How can Cinnamon support you?
Our Cinnamon Training Series is designed especially for church leaders and church activists who are passionate about seeing God’s love transform their communities.
From missional listening and conflict management to fundraising and managing volunteers, we have a schedule of training workshops that provide the foundations for projects to succeed.
All training events are delivered online on a Thursday morning between 9:20am and 1:00pm.
What the training includes:
- Three hours of great training with our experienced trainers
- Direct support with specific challenges you may be facing
- Opportunities to share experiences with your peers
- Comprehensive post-event resources
- Access to the Cinnamon Connect online learning community
Cinnamon Connect is for anyone – leaders, volunteers, and activists – who want to see Christian social action make a difference in their community.
Through Cinnamon Connect, you can access the people, knowledge and resources that will help you serve your communities and change lives forever.
Through Cinnamon Connect PLUS you can access a library of great resources that will help you with everything from writing policies to managing volunteers.
Through our interactive mapping tool you can also to build up a picture of what’s going on in your community.
You’ll also be invited to our training events and can access our catalogue of webinars and their associated resources for FREE
Membership of Cinnamon Connect PLUS is just £10 a month, and this includes FREE access to ALL Cinnamon’s training events.
About Us
Each year, we interact with more than 1,000 local churches the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland. We conduct research, provide advice, incubate new church-based social action projects, deliver training courses and help churches to start social action projects that transform their communities.
