Martin Warner founded Michelmersh Brick Holdings in 1997 and has served as Chief Executive and subsequently non-executive Chairman from May 2017. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and is Chairman of the Brick Development Association. He is a non-executive director of Aberforth Smaller Companies Trust plc.

Sharon Prentis

Deputy Director, Racial Justice, C of E

Sharon Prentis is Deputy Director of The Racial Justice Unit, Church of England. She was formerly the Dean of Ministry at St Mellitus College. She also has responsibility as the Intercultural Mission Enabler and Dean of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Affairs for the Church of England in Birmingham, and Canon theologian at Lichfield Cathedral. Her vast experience includes teaching and research and she is also a published author.

Colin Marsh

Experienced community leader

Colin Marsh has been the Ecumenical Development Officer at Birmingham Churches Together (BCT) for the past 14 years. He retired at the end of March 2020 and continues to play a key role in uniting communities in the city for the benefit of all.

Darren Mitchell

Partner at Simmons & Simmons

Darren is an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) who has worked with some of the world’s leading professional service organisations, like PWC and IBM. He is currently a partner and COO at Simmons & Simmons law firm and uses his extensive business experience to support Cinnamon’s growth and development.

Finance and Governance

We have some incredible supporters who help us a churches and develop start-up social action projects. Those supporters include individuals, businesses, major donors, trusts, foundations, police forces and local authorities.

We are grateful to all our supporters and use every penny entrusted to help us achieve maximum impact on the ground.
