Mark heads up Cinnamon’s work with social action projects, including our work to nurture new church-led initiatives on the Incubator programme. Alongside his work with Cinnamon, Mark provides consultancy for charities, funders and businesses across the UK and beyond.
Diane McWilliam

Developing church mission
Diane’s experience in community development spans more than 25 years with a variety of voluntary sector and faith-based organisations. Alongside her Cinnamon work, Diane is also a practice tutor for community development at the University of Glasgow.
Victoria Lawrence
Greater London Project Advisor
Connecting church and community
Victoria Lawrence (RVL)—as she’s fondly known—is a passionate leader and advocate for vibrant, community-connected churches. She heads up Cinnamon Network’s work in the Greater London area, supporting churches on their journey to engage more deeply with their local communities.
Amongst other roles, Victoria is the founder of The Father’s Joy Ministries, a Cultural Intelligence consultant, and serves as a council member for Churches in Communities. She sits on the Board of Trustees at the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity and is the Church Engagement Manager at Bible Society. In addition, she provides Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) guidance to Christian organisations and churches across the UK.

Dr Sarah Taylor

Bringing it all together
Sarah brings vast experience from both the public and charity sectors. She’s also a passionate advocate for church-led social action, having led and supported numerous ministries. Sarah is also currently completing a Doctorate at Durham University, researching how churches in the UK have responded to the pandemic.

Kate has spent her career working in communications for a variety of UK and international charities. With a passion for words, Kate also contributes blogs, article and content for publications across the UK and beyond.
Dr David Simmons

Funding and Impact
David has been with Cinnamon on and off for over ten years. His background is in IT, music, and theatre as well as organisational impact and outcome measurement.
