Through the last 12 months, we’ve been working with thousands of church leaders and volunteers. They all represent remarkable churches who are at the heart of their communities seeking out those who are falling through the cracks and in need of urgent support due to the impact of COVID-19.
With your help, we’ve been able to train and support churches as they have mobilised their communities to do all sorts of things – from getting food parcels out to supporting young people’s mental health.
But since the start of the pandemic, an additional 1.1 million people have been plunged into poverty and while lockdown may be easing, further challenges are ahead.
We aim to:
- Build the capacity of churches in areas hardest hit by COVID-19
- Support those working in areas with a high concentration of ethnic minority groups
- Develop our online learning community to share experience and maximise our learning
Collectively, we know the impact we can make is huge! We’ve seen our combined efforts make such a difference over the past year and your donation will ensure that local churches can continue to be at the heart of their community’s recovery.
